What, the fender flares, the Marchal/Momo signs or the entire Datsun Cherry X1-R?

the whole car.

I love that car. I wish we got that generation here. We did get the next one, the F-10 which was also pretty odd looking, but not interesting to drive. The double carb Cherry was apparently quite the pocket rocket.

I love especially love the JDM X1-R. We got that E-10 over here in Euroland, the ‘Datsun Cherry’. Not known for being pocket rockets with their 1000cc. They were known for being rust buckets. I need to go to Japan...

Yeah, all those Japanese cars from that era rusted to dust. And the F-10 was Nissan’s first front wheel drive car and the transmission was made of glass. I was actually just resisting temptation on one of these, a second gen. Cherry on Craigslist. It has to be the last rust free one left and it has lovely red velour seats.

Haha, is that some sort of Coupe? We didn’t get that one over here.
You’ve been tempted by better ones, Herr Eisen. Resist your urges.

I think I am resisting, but I have also been tempted by worse cars, so we shall see.
